Pharmacovigilance

The term "Pharmacovigilance" refers to the detection, assessment, understanding and prevention of side effects and other drug-related problems.

A key principle of Pharmacovigilance is to safeguard and promote Public Health through the continuous monitoring of safety data of pharmaceutical products on the market, thus ensuring patients' right to safe and effective medicines.

At the same time, it contributes to enriching knowledge about the side effects of medicinal products, leading to the adoption of targeted measures for their more appropriate and safer use.

Pharmacovigilance constantly monitors the risk-benefit balance of pharmaceutical products, ensuring that it always remains positive and beneficial
